The Power of APEX Views

Explore the power of the APEX views. This session will show how easy it is to use APEX views to build a quick application that will show how to monitor the health of your APEX environment. Attendees will leave with an APEX sample application that will dashboard the following:
- Top APEX applications
- Applications with Errors
- Poor Performance
- Automation Errors
- Webservice Errors
- Mail Send/Queue Errors
- Invalid Logins
- Workflow Activities
Our APEX environment has 45 workspaces with 110 production APEX applications. Having this information at our fingertips is key to monitoring our top-used applications with the most visited pages to ensure that the information is performing at its best and guarantee ease of use for all of our APEX applications.

Elizabeth Garcia
Elizabeth started using Oracle as a programmer at the University of New Mexico in 2003. She started as a student employee and contractor during the Banner by Ellucian Enterpise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation for the Student module. After the student module was completed, the HR module was next. She was hired as a Staff member in 2006 for HR IT. Throughout the years, she worked with Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for the ETL process of HR transaction data to the Operational Data Store (ODS) for reporting. Utilized Hyperion as a reporting tool, Oracle Reports, SQL Loader scripts for COTs applications, created PL/SQL packages for nightly scheduled jobs and reporting. Created HR Reports utilizing Oracle Application Express (APEX). In September 2017, she left the University to pursue a career at Los Alamos National Laboratory focusing in application development using APEX, PL/SQL and Oracle data modeling.
