Meet me Monday
This week, we interviewed Diego Fion!
Diego is a Senior Software Engineer at Viscosity. We are excited to have you get to know him, in this week’s Meet me Monday segment!
1. What year did you begin working at Viscosity?
I started to work at Viscosity as a contractor on mid 2014. I remember my first project, oh man! I felt exited and afraid at the same time because was my first work as a contractor for a foreign company. I’m from Guatemala by the way.
2. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Definitely Japan, I have always been interested about their culture, their food, anime… everything! I’m really surprised how they manage the technology and use it day by day. I would love to visit Kyoto, and Osaka!
3. If you could have any superpower, which would you choose?
I would… choose to stop time. Sometimes I feel like I’m running with no time to rest or be with my family because I really like what I do. Researching and programing are tasks that are really time consumming and more if you are really focused. I’d definitely use this power for work and specially if I’m stuck hehehe
4. Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I’m not sure… maybe are too hiddend that I don’t even know them. But, if playing soccer is a hidden talent, well… when I was younger I was really good playing soccer and at 16 years I got to choose between playing professional soccer or continue with my studies… I think all know which was my choice
5. Last but not least, what is your favorite thing about working at Viscosity?
Hmmmmm… difficult, there’s a lot of things that I really like and enjoy but for my favorite I would say… feels like family. It’s great to work with talented professionals, that feeling of friendship is amazing because you know you can count with them for everything. And another favorite thing for me is that the business has an environment of continuing learning and I really like that. Feeling challenged its one of the best things of being on the Technology industry and Viscosity has it!
